Exclusively Taj Mahal

Agra - City Of Taj

The Taj Mahal does not need any introduction. Still, I would love to requote a line here, flaunting the heritage beauty of Taj  Mahal by Sir Edwin Arnold - "Not a piece of architecture, as other buildings are, but the proud passions of an emperor's love wrought in living stones". Taj has many shades as any kind of beauty can ever have! Like pinkish in morning, Shiny bright in noon, Milky white in evening and golden when moon shines in different shapes and size!!

Unfortunately, you will read warry warnings and other information in bits and pieces which can make your experience scary or worrisome. So, first of all, must not believe in everything that is available on the internet. Come to Taj with blissful pride. Visiting the Taj Mahal should be a cheerful affair, come let's unfurl a saga.

How To Reach Taj

Downloading any Taxi app is a better option, in my opinion, the reason behind, if you are already scared of being bragged these commuting modes are befooling free.

About Taj Mahal

Stand in the middle of the courtyard see the Taj through and move towards it, you will feel as if Taj is moving away from you, take a few steps back Taj will surely look closer to you, this is because of optical illusion. An octagonal building made on raised marble platform looks indistinguishable from every angle.

At times I think that architecture then was way superior and finer from now. Being 388 years old this mausoleum is standing all white and glowing with pride. Marble used is soft n pure, semi precious stones lost no sheen. How did they manage to bring raw material from Yamen? How did those minute carvings have been first cut so precisely and then pasted inside without being different from each other? Were there any stencils used? Like I can't draw a line straight with or without ruler, and those craftsmen were having such an eye for details, correctness, and accuracy believe me it's incredible. Technology, machines, tools which are now available to us, were not even invented or discovered then, and yet Taj is made that magnificent.

A lot I have read on internet, about the history of this monument, the more I read less fancy I found Taj. Yes!! By saying so I meant- Who made it, when it was commissioned, all this is just a piece of gathered information, when one feels Taj in person they can totally relate to what I am quoting here. One knows that Taj is amongst world's wonders! Well Taj has distinction- It is the fusion of art, culture, human craftsmanship, efforts put in and the logic applied. Grace of perfection, purity and dedication! Taj Mahal is beyond belief!!

  6. I wish I had seen your post before I went to the Taj Mahal just about a year ago. I have to admit I was underwhelmed. Major world sites tend to do that to me. I spent 5 weeks in India and it was not the most beautiful thing I encountered. The people were the most beautiful.
